User Review Rate Down Trolls

Maybe the administrators of this site can think of changing the user reviewer rating system. There are too many fanboy trolls who rate down any movie that speaks against the uberness their films while rating up reviews that talk about how great some real garbage is. I wrote a review for the Happening about a month before the official site review and at one point it was bordering on 80%. There were a couple other good review there were not quite as deep, but well written. Now all the reviews that accurately portray The Happening have been rated down. Being someone with a love of movies who has been writing amateur reviews for about 9 months now, I was very excited to see that the review I took a substantial amount of time to write was being very well received. Now, my review, which was the most comprehensive at the time of posting, is rated down to 60% because of a bunch of whiny fanboys who don't like people's opinion.

I write reviews for my own growth as a writer and my friends and I have posted several reviews for movies which BR.com hasn't had a chance to get to and I feel they are pretty dead on accurate if not quite as refined and technical as the official reviews. Now my work is besmudged because anyone who doesn't like what you to say about a movie can just go pfft ... rate down. You guys really need to do something about the rating system because I certainly am not going to post my hard work just to have some immature dorkbats who can’t accept some objective reality rate it down.

I know a lot of people aren’t going to care about this topic, but it is something that I feel strongly about. I take a lot of time and do my best to be objective and present an accurate feel of the movie without revealing any spoilers and minimal plots points which is difficult to do. It is great seeing most users of this site appreciate a good detailed review, too bad you have an irresponsible group ruining that.
