Default best indoor antenna

Does anybody know what the best indoor antenna is for recieving hd channels is?
Im looking for hands down the best antenna, like channel master 777 is the best amp, blu ray the best format, and pioneer kuro the best tv.
Im not looking for what you have and what you like..just wanting to know if somebody has looked for antennas for awhile and notice if one in particular is always mentioned or stands out from the rest cause i dont want to buy a piece of crap that doesnt work....reviews mean nothing if half are 5 stars and half are 2

good question , I would like to know the answer myself, I've been eyeing this RCA flat HDTV antenna that they sell at walmart for like $30,it kind of looks like a HT component that you would put in your stereo cabinet, not sure how good it works

http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/Address.aspx

This site will show how strong of an antenna you need to get good reception in your area. Just put in your address and a fake e-mail and go.

You can get the best indoor antenna ever made, but if your location is bad; it still won't do you a bit of good.

This is generally considered the best indoor digital antenna in the affordable range:

http://www.amazon.com/Philips-PHDTV1-Silver-Digital-Antenna/dp/B0007XDI54%3FSubscriptionId%3D0SS63947Z47JATV0JD82 %26tag%3Dliorswebsite-20%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165 953%26creativeASIN%3DB0007XDI54

But generally the best solution is a giant mounted antenna on the roof.

I have used this antenna and it works pretty well.

20 miles is not too far for an indoor antenna so long as there is not a lot of interference inside the home.

The best indoor antenna is the CS-102 HDTV/DTV UHF Antenna. Go to Kowatec.com & read up on it. Google it also. I don't have cable or satellite, only over-the-air tv. I live in Columbus, OH & get plenty of HD channels for free, up to 80 miles away using this antenna. I've tried all the other brands & models ( Channel Master, Terk etc.) even some highly ranked outdoor models, but none have equaled the CS-102's performance. It cost about $30 & is worth every penny.

Also check out the antennas on Monoprice.com, I think they use a similar technology as the CS-102.

+1

I was going to get that one for my TV a while ago but I went with another Phillips antenna. Phillips makes good antennas.

Can't declare the best title until you've tried the CS-102. Home Theater Magazine did a antenna reception test last year ( using alot of the brands quoted on this thread ), the CS-102 pulled in the most channels hands down.
The CS-102 has a high passive gain ( no amplifier ) & uses new technology not available in any of the other quoted antennas.
