Keane Live won't play - Blu-ray Forum

The Keane Live disc just plays the advert for Universal Music Blu-ray releases and then there is nothing more coming up.
No menu or nothing comes up on my PS3.
Any other has experience with this title ?

Tried the disc on a Yamaha Blu-ray and it plays fine.
It says on the cover "Playstation 3 compatible",well it's NOT !
I've contacted PS3 support at Sony on this.

I assume you have the latest PS3 firmware... it's most odd they would put a sticker on the box claiming PS3 compatibility IF they haven't actually tested it to be so

Yes i have the latest firmware.
It's also on a sticker on the cover "Playstation 3 compatible"
Haven't heard from Sony yet,it's been three days now.Maybe their working on a solution (update) i hope.

Honestly... i doubt Sony would work on a firmware update for 1 disc... I doubt anyone at Sony even gave your email so much as a cursory glance

I personally think the people you should be contacting is the publishers of the disc, who are clearly at fault, claiming their disc works on PS3 when it doesn't

Sony have replied to every mail i sent them so far so that is wrong.
And is not one disc.
And i have contacted Universal Music before i contacted Sony.

I think a lot of media companies put the "PS3 compatible" sticker on a Blu-ray to attract more sales. It is possible the people who actually made the disc never tested it on a PS3. Very shoddy though if a BD can't play on the world's most popular Blu-ray player.
