Default Bi-amp 805

I was reading a review on the 805.

This receiver gives you the option of 5.1 surround and a zones 2 and 3 or 7.1 surround and zone 2 or 7.1 and using zone 2 function to bi-amp your front speakers for the ultimate home theatre experience!!!!

It made me read the manual and I can't see how that can be done. Then I thought is this person saying.

I can have the 7.1 hooked up and the fronts wired for bi-amp'ed, but can't use them at the same time. use the 7.1 when the source is 7.1, then when the source is 5.1 I can select bi-amp in the receiver.

Before I get to wiring, I look forward to hearing from you guys

I use the Bi-amp option on mine and I'm almost certain it does not work that way.

It gives you specific directions on how to set up your receiver for bi-amping in the instruction book and this is not mentioned.

I would not recommend trying it.

If you bi amp you only get 5.1 because you use the rear channels for your secound power source.
