What are some PS3 games in which are Coop Split Screen?

I always remembered playing Timesplitters: Future Perfect on the PS2 was a blast to play with a friend. Anything like this on the PS3?

Resistance 2!!!

Actually both of the Resistance games are the only one's i'm aware of that have co-op play.

I do have resistance one. It does have a Coop Story mode though?

Haze has 4 player split screen co op and was made by the same development team that did Timesplitters. I was going to buy this when it was released but was put off by the bad reviews.

Kane and Lynch was a pretty good co-op game as well... I was pretty surprised.

If you're asking the question "Does Resistance 1 have split screen co op?" then the answer is yes.
It's the same story as single player campaign but split down the middle of the screen. I found this nausiating. Online co op is the future!

Resistance 2 has 2-player co-op offline and up to 8-player co-op online.

Not sure if it has LAN function to connect PS3's together though... Haven't found a definitive answer for that one. But this looks like the holiday shooter to get for the PS3, judging by what I've heard from friends and what I've read.

EDIT: And the game scales to how many people you have, unlike some games (*cough* Halo 3 *cough*).

Super Stardust HD has co-op. but it's only a short portion.

LBP, Pixeljunk Monsters, Pixeljunk Eden, Lego star wars, Lego indy, Lego batman, FIFA09, i know there are many others that i have played that have offline co-op, but i just woke up and haven't had my dose of Tang.

although online co-op is fun, it does not hold a candle to offline co-op.

How long would it take to beat the Coop story mode with another playing in Resistance?

depends on how good you are, and what difficulty ou are on.. I would say on average 20 - 30 hours.

Also you can throw in any Lego games.. Lego Star Wars, Lego BatMan, Lego Indania Jones.

Was Resistance's story really that long? I didn't realize that if it was. I thought it was more alone the lines of 15 hours, tops. I played through the single player 4 times, and the co-op 3 times. Can't wait to pick up R2. Co-op for the first game was so much fun because I could at least drag my partner through the missions, no matter how bad the partner was. My favorite is when you're in the underground train tunnels, and one of the trains has some leapers still in pods. I always told my partner that there was health/ammo in that train (because it was in a tough enough spot where they will ALWAYS be under max on health.) Nothing better than a cruel joke on them. Hey, I've got to pay SOMEBODY back, because I did it when I went through that level the first time. Couldn't figure out WHAT that weird crackling noise was, thought it was some glitch....

Ps... a buddy and I completed Resistance: FoM co-op in about 8 hours in 1 night. Hella fun.

which might need people apply a filter to there responses... unless the op changed his mind on that specification.
