Mine last year - I announced there was going to be a Harry Potter remake on Facebook.

I came out as being gay one April Fool's Day. Bad call on my part because I had an angry uncle call me to say he's on his way to beat my ass saying "your dad didn't raise no p*ssy!"

i love a good prank. the more elaborate, the better. i even had one going one time that took about a week to set up. i had a couple friends in on it, along with some cops who were gonna "bust" us while we were in the middle of out "bad deed". all just to mess with another friend.

but i tend to do them at times OTHER than april 1st.

A couple of years ago on Facebook on April 1st, one of my female friends posted...

"I really hate to do this, but one Facebook friend of mine has been sending several lewd and inappropriate messages to me, and has been stalking me for a long time. I have confronted this person, and tried my best to be friendly with my responses, but this person has not relented with the inappropriate behavior. One again, I hate to do this, but I'm going to call this person out in front of everybody on my Facebook feed.

The link was set up so that all of us who clicked on it saw our own Facebook profiles. Hahahahaha.

It freaked me out for a few seconds, though. I was like, "I haven't been sending her messages!"

A girlfriend I had in college broke up with me on April Fool's Day my senior year. I don't think it was intentional, it just happened to be that day. But then the next night she hit me up saying she'd thought about it and talked to her sister and decided she was being rash and wanted to stay together. But I was about to graduate and was kinda looking to get out of that situation anyway, so I said "nah you were right yesterday, trust your instincts."

She wasn't too happy about my reaction.
