"True bluray" or just upcoverted. - Blu-ray Forum

How do they actually do this on old movies. Since they are converting past movies into bluray, are they actually bluray or digitally remastered and upconverted. I know some movies now are being shot with high def. cameras and getting a true high def. movies, how are movies shot in film be converted to high def. picture quality?

film has a greater resolution that blu-ray.
