Default Is it me or is my system...

I just watched the new incredible hulk and ironman and I must say the incredible hulk sounded fantastic but iron sounded good but a little muted...is there any reason for this...again i used the same equipment so i know it is calibrated properly....i was a little disappointed in Iron Man after listening to the Hulk...

the iron man blu-ray automatically sets your players DRC to go on when you plug it in. im not certain why, but thats probably whats causing the challenges you're having with the audio portion of the dvd.

after playing the said media, check your blu-ray settings and remove the DRC settings that were applied.

I'm not sure this is accurate. I bitstream audiophile to my Yamaha to get all the codecs and my player does not switch the DNR to "on" when I put my copy of Iron Man in it. Yes, I've checked...

If you are bitstreaming to youre Denon :

While the TrueHD Track is playing

hit menu

Select Parameter
Select AUDIO

The DRC will be at : AUTO by defaut
Put that to OFF
