Need Home Theater/Receiver Recommendation

Hey guys, I am looking to purchase a new Home Theater System with a Good A/V Receiver. I am leaning towards the Onkyo TX806, but I want more than just a receiver. Onkyo offers a Home Theater System, but it only includes the TX606 Receiver and not the TX806 that I am leaning towards. Therefore, what recommendations do you guys have? I am not looking to spend more than $700 for a complete home theater system. I am not too familiar with the different brands, therefore, I do not know the others too well. I would like to get a SONY receiver, but they are too pricey and does not seem up to par with the Onkyo, but I could mistaken. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
