Sky+HD Audio. Dolby or HD ? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi can anyone tell me in the uk if sky's hd box provides hd audio or is it just standard dolby digital. wasnt sure if to connect my new sky box to my hd receiver cos it dont support hd audio then im not going to bother as i dont want the wife and kids having to keep switching my receiver on/off to watch sky. if the sky box supports hd audio then i will.

Sky HD audio is Dolby Digital only

ok cheers liz, no point in the box going through my receiver (picture wise). will use optical cable for audio and run the hdmi cable straight into the tv.
