Rogers Video 25% off PPV blu-rays

I was at Rogers Video today and they had 25% off previously played blu-rays, picked up forbidden kingdom for like $18 after taxes

The Rogers locations in my neck of the woods have the same discount on previously viewed Blus.

Unfortunately I find their prices are ridiculously high, so even the 25% discount only drops the discs down a couple of dollars over brand new anywhere else.

The selection is pretty stinky so far as well, but with any newer format you must wait out the waves of crap for a while...

Blockbuster does the same thing. I picked up 10,000 BC and Forbidden Kingdom for $19.99. I'll check out the Rogers near work and see what they have as well.

With the 25% off, Forbidden Kingdom should be around $16 if anyone is interested.

i've a rogers FIEND (live right next to one!) and i haven't really found any good used blu rays. i'm waiting for the godfather to hit their used shelf

it's a joke tho, they put ironman blu ray for $30!! previously viewed!!

have any of you guys had any luck getting used bd with digital copy at rogers?

Rogers gets an exclusive version of titles that normally come with a digital copy, that simply drops the disc & any advertisment of having a DC disc.

I picked up Street Kings for $16 or so a few weeks back during a 25% off promo. Right now there isn't anything that I find appealing. I'm not a fan of Iron Man really, and their current PV price is 29.99 (22.50 after discount), which is still too high.

they have iron man on blu ray previsouly viewed for 19.99 at the blockbuster near me

I don't think I'll ever buy a PV Blu from Blockbuster since they replace the cases with uglier regular DVD-style cases.

I believe they have a satisfaction guarantee. So take it back and get them to switch the cases. In my side of town, they have actual BD cases.

nope, they def give blu ray cases
they give the same case thats on the shelf

Every location in Winnipeg that I have been to are eliminating the Blu-ray case, and are using standard DVD cases for rentals & PV sales. They look horrid, just plain ugly. Times may change this, but I believe they've only been doing it since earlier this year.

That sucks, I was going to check out a RV but I'm in Winnipeg too. I guess I won't be, I love my blu cases.

Its only Blockbuster that is doing this... mentioned above. Roger's Video sells PV discs with standard Blu cases thankfully.
