Was 2 years ago in November, that I saw the tour for this album... like WTF!

Well we know that the new Gn'R is going to be unlike anything we've heard from them before. That's definitely not a strong suit of AC/DC.

I think I have to agree with your statement. I heard the new AC/DC album via the vh1.com leak site. Not bad. A bit polished for AC/DC but 15 new songs none the less. Got tickets to their show when they come to town next year.

I'm part of the slightly older crowd here who has much more 'romantic' views of G'NR. I've been listening to the various leaked tracks as they've come out, and if some of the tracks are at least as good as the potential that I heard in the rough and demo versions then there's a chance that the album might be a big hit.

You have to admit, too: Literally hundreds of thousands of people might blind buy the CD just to finally hear it.

This album will be an Epic fail. Axl and friends have wasted soo much of the studios money the only way they will ever make it back is if this becomes the best selling album of all time, which it will not.

Unless they deliver the White album this is going to get heavy criticism and fail spectacularly. This release has gotten too much of the wrong kind of publicity, the kind that has nothing to do with music.

The new single on the radio is so-so, I gotta say that I do not care for hearing Axel sing the lead and the background vocals at the same time (you can't do that live! haha), I wonder if he did that on all the tracks.

I'm enjoying what I've heard so far. It's weird hearing new stuff from such a familiar voice. I'm especially enjoying Shackler's Revenge on Rock Band 2.

I agree. I love Death Magnetic but I find it gets tiring over time... too much of the same thing over and over for 80 minutes.

Guns usually mix their songs up pretty good. Use Your Illusions 1 and 2 is a very good variety of stuff. I expect the same from CD.
