Guitar Hero AeroSmith Demo .... Gone?

Hi,

I enjoyed this demo for a while then deleted it.

(I thought.. I should play my real guitar instead of this but... now... I've gone back to playing the real guitar and that's fine and all so I want to download the demo again.)

I can't find it anywhere on the PS Store.... Is it just gone??? Are they removing demos now because they haven't done that before. (Unless I wrong ... very possible actually.)

I looked on the PS Store website and the Aerosmith demo is still there.

I just can't find it.... Any tips...I check A to Z under A and G but didn't see it.

It should be there. The easiest way is go to your downloads list and redownload it. Everything you have ever downloaded is listed.

The reason that won't work is I liked up my playstation forum online to my PS3 account and then I had two accounts setup and deleted the old one which wasn't linked up with the playstation forum account.

That was a good tip though... I wish I could do that.

It should be there... I'll just have to look again.

Go under "browse all" and go to "G" and search for Guitar hero from there...

I tried that ... and it should have worked... Maybe one of the Guitar Hero options leads to more options including the Aerosmith demo...

Just try clicking the Demo tab on the left. It should bring up the entire list of demos for download. Good thing I rented this game, I beat it within a couple of days.

Just spent another 20 minutes .... I can't find it.

Grrr.... I may not be thinking clearly today... Can anyone verify they still see it and explain how to find it because I think they pulled it or maybe they remember I dl-ed it (though it's not in my account history since I changed my account.)

I was hoping to DL the demo, then pick up a used guitar controller,.. then save for the game or one of the other Guitar Hero type games... but ... Can't make it happen.

if you go to your "past downloads" page on the psn, you should be able to download it from there...

I explained earlier in the thread why that doesn't work for me. I had different accounts on my PS3 and Playstation online sites and when I linked them I deleted the older account and that download history went with it.

Sorry to be a pain.... I'm going to have to give up soon ... this is more trouble than it's worth... I'll just save till I can get the game with the guitar or just forget about it.

I do think the demo is gone though... I sure as hell can't find it.

Hello Again,

I was never able to find this. I asked on the playstation forums and no one would help me over there.

Before I linked up my playstation account and my playstation forum account... I had a different user name and password. I managed to remember that older name and password and created a new user and logged in with the old info and found the download in my history.

So... this was difficult but now it's ok.... so ... don't worry.

I wonder if demos are going to be taken down from the store over time.

Makes me want to buy a larger hard drive because... demos can be fun.
