Holy Cow!
They sure don't make movies like this any more...I wonder ifthey ever dd! This movie is one of the most over the top extreme "roughies" I've ever seen. Shelly Winters is an incredible self parody, and Leslie Uggams goes through hell. I wonder if they showed her the script before she signed her contract. The sound is bad, but I'm sure that's the movie, not the transfer. The picture is pretty good. The shadows are a bit opaque, but again, that's probably the movie, not the transfer. The DNR was set high, but it wasn't obtrusive. It looked like a drive in. Yow! |
