I have a Buffalo technologies wireless router that has worked perfectly for over a year. Now if I'm logged into PSN, and someone else gets on the internet (either on my wired desktop or wireless laptop) I get booted off PSN. Any ideas?
My laptop and desktop can be online at the same time, but the PS3 has to be the only thing connected to the internet if it's going to work. Also, when I check network settings on the PS3, it says I have 100% signal strength. Last edited by Cyorg; 11-15-2008 at 09:39 PM. |

Ok, well this is a shot in the dark, but could it be a simple as an IP address conflict? I say this because when i have my laptop on, and then turn on my xbox (i know im part of the dark side too, but love my PS3, the light side) my laptop suddenly has an IP conflict and wont connect to the network. So you might try assigning your PS3 a static IP address so that its IP address won't be double asigned and see if that helps. Good Luck....
