How Much Do You Spend on a Movie Theater Ticket? - Blu-ray Forum

How much do you spend for a ticket at your local movie theaters? Personally, I make it a habit to always catch the matinee for $7.50. Unless I get a free ticket with a blu-ray purchase... then I get it's full worth. Also, I know it's wrong but how many of you movie-hop?

$9.95.... was $9.50 till a month ago. It was 8.50 a year ago

Probably going to be $15 by the end of next year at this rate.

digital mega screen: ~$10/ticket.
digital screen: ~$8

you won't find me watching a movie on anything else.

EDIT: Forgot I can get the $8 tickets for .50 cheaper through my work.

12.50 - IMAX - I think, can't remember exactly
19.50 - Over 21 theatre with alcohol service and large home theatre styles seats.

the last one is totally worth it. no cell phones, teenagers, better seating, booze.

id spend it if a theater close by offered it.

the one in my area is actually really nice. 2 big screens for the new releases and then like 14 smaller ones but the seating is still nice in all of them.
