Default Jeff Dunhams very special christmas special

Did anyone watch this on comedy central sunday night?

Im a big Jeff Dunham fan, I love both his Dvds, but i was really disapointed in what i saw sunday night.. too many commercials, they must have done some serious editing, I looked at the upcoming blu release and its almost twice as long as what aired on comedy central.

any other Jeff Dunham fans out there?

Jeff Dunham - for anyone to achieve what he has as a ventriloquist takes sheer talent, and histerical to boot.

One of my favorite comedians since I first caught his Santa Ana show on Comedy Central many, many years ago. Hope to get the Blus for cheap, they're rewatchable many, many times!

I saw him in Atlantic City in August and I am sure the act was almost exactly as this special and they HACKED THE S&%$ out of it. First no opening monolouge, this was actually very funny, Jeff talking about instead of teaching his daughter to drive at 16 he should have taught her how to pump gas at 15. That was a good 10 minute monolougue. I am guessing an the rest timewise but Walter got cut about 15-20 minutes/Achmed about 5-10 minutes, Achmed talking about chasing the dog in the yard after he stole his arm was HYSTERICAL stepping in dog poop with boney feet is like some sick play-dough fun factory experiment. Peanut a good 15-20 minutes also. There was a 10 minute Bubba J skit that was non existant at the AC show, infact his was using him as an encore at the end of the show. I am going in January to see him in Philadelphia and have been looking forward to it since I got the tickets, snagged second row dead center. If you have not seen any of his dvd/blu-rays do yourself a favor and invest the time and money, well worth it

Yep, there are 3 Jeff Dunham BDs today. Well, amazon has 1 of the 3, Jeff Dunham: Arguing with Myself, listed as being released 02/03/2009 but the Three-Disc BD Collection (which includes Arguing with Myself) is out today. Weird o_O

I am getting the three pak!

Achmed is brilliant as is the skit where he is the one left out of the conversation with the two puppets!

Forget what you saw on TV, its always edited way to much... i recommend getting the Blu's for sure!

just bought a copy on ebay for $7 & some change w/$3 shipping. standard dvd but still. i've got the others on standard and this isn't a huge need to have on blu for me.

there are a couple of deals on there from what i saw. but $10 shipped for a stand up dvd is pretty decent.

Not as funny as Spark of Insanity. He reused a lot of material.

Sanna-ta-anna!! LOL!! Jeff Dunham is awesome!! The thing about him is that I really enjoy his opening monologues almost as much as I do when he brings out the puppets!!

SILENCE!!!!..........I keeel you!!

My favorite is with Walter. They pick a guy out of the audience and ask him what he does for a living.....

Walter: "So what do you do for a living?"

Audience member: "I'm in the framing and dry-wall business".

Walter: <stares blankly at Jeff> "Well genius, got anything for that?"

Walter looks at the audience member: "See we've got jokes for doctors, lawyers, politicians, etc. Not too many for the framing and dry wall occupation in our arsenal of snappy comebacks. And we're not gonna go home and write any cuz what are the fu@&n' odds now!!"

LOL!!!

I just thought of another priceless Walter moment!!

One year Jeff Dunham performed for "Comic Relief." For any of you who don't know what that is, it's a comedy show that used to come on HBO every year that raised money to help the homeless. Well Jeff comes out with Walter and talks about Comic Relief and how it's helped out so many people, blah blah blah. Walter proceeds to come back with...

"Good grief I don't see what the big frickin' deal is! I live in a box. Where's my check?!?" LOL!!

I think Ronn Lucas is a better ventriloquist than Jeff in terms of sheer ability, technique, etc. However Jeff is a much MUCH better comedian and I find his shows more entertaining.
