Default Bioshock 3 to remain in Rapture?

http://palgn.com.au/14298/bioshock-3...in-in-rapture/

Quote:
Even though Bioshock 2 is still some time away from hitting retail shelves, 2K Marin are already talking about possible settings for a third, and for further, installments of the series. Creative Director at 2K Marin, Jordan Thomas, told the UK’s Official Xbox Magazine that Rapture remained flexible enough for further narrative opportunities beyond the sequel.

“I think Rapture remains fertile for as much expansion as a team sees in it,” Thomas said. “I absolutely believe that there might be future games set in Rapture in whatever time period, but I would also say that I think that the Bioshock brand is big enough that it could evolve.”

Thomas also spoke about morale choices and multiple endings in Bioshock 2, saying that the sequel will not pre-determine your ending based on a simple method. While he doesn’t specifically say so, we think he may be referring to the ‘no-tolerance’ approach to harvesting Little Sisters that existed in the first game, where harvesting one Little Sister and saving the rest gave you the same outcome as harvesting them all.

”I am very interested in allowing the player more control, more intentionality in the way the game is resolved,” Thomas said. “In Bioshock 1 the game had a pretty binary ending and there was a point where it was irreversible and you were put into Box A or Box B. This time around, my goal is to make sure that along the way when the player is making choices that are going to resonate in the end-game, they're aware of it every step of the way.”
