onkyo 806 help - Blu-ray Forum

i need help with my onkyo 806 it was working so good until my brother messed with it now it reads PCM and its much lower then normal how do i fix this problem

With what is it connected?

You've probably got Night mode on. There is a "L Night" button on the bottom of the remote.

1 check the inputs "audio setting" or the outputs (source) setting.
depending on the source audio can be output as "Bitstream" or "PCM"

2 . less likely but check the level (make sure you are using the input of the "audio issue") Then under the settings go to 4. Source then adjust "inteli-volume"

The first one is more likely as the way you mentioned PCM is showing up that it didn't used to.
