Is there any chance this movie will get picked up by someone, cleaned up and released? The dvd is nearly vhs quality. This is such a cool 80s movie, which really found success on video and cable. I'm surprised that it has been so neglected.

The R2 dvd looks great and has some nice special features. One of the best films of the 80s hope it arrives stateside or in Europe this year.

I'll remember I saw this when I was rent this in VHS way back to 1990s. I don't remember the rest since and I don't have DVD then and need it in Blu.

LONG overdue on Blu-ray! I hope it finds itself a home on BD sometime soon, I'd love to see a retrospective doc with Howell and Rutger. Great flick, with an amazing atmospheric score!

The film resides with HBO stateside and Studio Canal in Europe. I would like to see SC release it because of those great extras.

Tots agreed. First time I watched this movie I taped it on tv when it came on the local channels at like 2am. So good.

I think there was a Euro release that was region free fairly recently(?).

Yep. German. Region-free and with 2 commentaries and a documentary that's about 35 minutes or so. The movie looks/sounds real good.
