I was interested about this movie a lot, but that trailer kind of ruined it for me. Maybe it was the Saw theme that did it for me. I"ll still probably see it depending on reviews. Might just wait for blu-ray though, should look pretty good

Eddie Izzard is in it though so I might have to go just for him!

Just saw the trailer, this is not for me at all. I will pass in theater and on BD, might watch on TMN in about a year's time if I got nothing else to do

I'm definitely checking it out. My only concern is that the suspense factor is out the window because I already know the outcome of the story and it's characters. It'll be interesting to see how Singer makes up for that.

It looks decent....we'll see what happens. No german accent for cruise....a letdown imo.

They totally should have had the guy who played Hitler in Downfall to be in this one. He was excellent.

I will watch it long before it comes out on Blu. As it is just as inexpensive for me to watch at the theatre as to rent it on Blu ray. This way I will already know just how good it is, just in case it is purchase material.

I would like to know how we are supposed to believe that Tom Cruise is Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg when he SPEAKS WITH A PERFECT AMERICAN ACCENT! And what is with the current trend on racking pistol slides with a desk?!?! What kind of jack a$$ would be that careless with his fire arm! Every time I see the trailer that pisses me off more and more, oh well I will enjoy his ending....


Has Cruise even been killed on screen since Far and Away, and no I don't count Interview since he kept coming back. I am looking forward to his end by firing squad for sure, him and his little eye patch too! hahahahahahha

What a total rip, I heard that in it last night.

Cruise is having a hard time rescuing his career from the depths of his Oprah theatrics and the recent attention the Hubbard cult has gotten. I don't think this movie will help much, certainly isn't a big star with the Germans.

I didn't know much about this movie until I saw the trailer, and it looks like an awesome story. The problem I found while watching the trailer was in Tom Cruise's performance. Please forgive this question of stupidity but .... is cruise playing an american who goes undercover or is he supposed to be a real german officer? Everything I saw from the trailer looks great and it sounded great too, until Tom began to speak. He was the only actor not using some type of accent. I'm not trying to start a Tom Cruise bash war, but what is up with the accent??? I will rent this on DVD/BLU, but I just can't help feeling after seeing the trailer, that the inclusion of Tom Cruise is going to hold this back from being a blockbuster.

the fact that he has an American accent and not a german one will ruin the whole movie for me. i think i will have to pass on this which is a shame because i think it may actually have been a good movie

I feel Cruise has ever gone out of his comfort zone when acting.

Yeah, the lack of German accent is a big downer.

However, I think this should be pretty decent. My wife definitely wants to see it (which is amazing considering her profound dislike for Cruise). So, we'll be catching it in the theatre, I'm sure.
