Cool Panny BD30 changes setup

I have a Panasonic BD30 connected to my Onkyo 605 via HDMI then connected to my Samsung DLP (1080i/720p) from the Onkyo HDMI to DVI. Every time I play an audio CD in my BD30 it resets the HMDI output from 1080i to automatic. The automatic setting seems to detect the Onkyo and sets the BD30 to 1080p, which my TV doesn't support. So I need to access the BD30 through the composite video output so I can change the setting back to 1080i. Does anyone know why this changes every time I play an audio CD? How can I stop this??

Thanks
