I had the e-mail from them about this earlier
I've just ordered - for now - The Persuaders and The Prisoner - total cost about £55 so cheaper than Amazon and no postage costs. I wished I'd picked The Persuaders up when Play had it cheap a while back, but this is the next best thing I'm going to have a look at some of those British Film DVDs later and I might get some of those as well |

Yeah I remember seeing it when I was younger and bought the DVD a few years ago but Blu-Ray would be better. £5.50 is a great price.
Anyone recommend any others? I was eyeing up Things To Come but wasn't sure if it's worth getting? I heard Wells hated Metropolis, but he would do seeing as he directed this...which is the better film? |

Such a bad time, what with the Criterion sale at B&N and Arrow's recent annoucements being cheaper for a limited period. I have my eye on a few things, Carol Reed's Odd Man Out, Things to Come and on DVD Handgun, which was released not long ago, but seems to have slipped under my radar completely. I'm interested in Afterschool too (from the director of Simon Killer the upcoming MoC release and starring Ezra Miller) but it's cheaper on Amazon at the moment.

Not really, they go well with the rest of the British Film collection they've been releasing - some really good titles in there. And more importantly they use less much-needed space on the shelves!

I picked up Empire State which was widely derided on its release but now looks quite interesting as a memento of the times. I also bought A Box Named Frank, the complete Public Eye DVD set with £25 off

Yes except the rest of the British Film collection are DVD's so I would expect them to be in DVD cases

Bought a couple on Blu-ray, Four Films by David Leland and Perfect Friday, plus a few dvds e.g. Human Jungle, Machinegunner, Muck & Brass and the Medusa Touch.
Would have bought more but still have some things to pick up from the Barnes & Noble Criterion sale. |
