Default Sony’s DHG-HDD250 and DHG-HDD500 HD DVRs are NOT blu-ray!

That is the Sony link of the the HD recorders. It seems it can replace my Sony HD-300 tuner and give me HD recording ability. woo hoo

It has no dvd drive to burn movies, but I can transfer them to my DVD recorder via s-video like I do now. Won't be HD (sigh) but I can still enjoy my favorite shows in HD when I want to watch them.
