Unhappy Problem with Blu Ray?

I just updated my Blu Ray with the latest firmware (version 4.30 for BDP-S300). Now as we begin to watch the movie, we continue to break the fuse in the room. Has never happened before and wonder where the issue could be?

Wow...I have never read of anything like this before. I would highly doubt that a firmware update could be causing an electric fuse to go off.

Did you plug in something else that you usually didn't have plugged in? Fan, Charger, anything???!!

Well, we have always used the blu ray in one location and moved it down to the basement. This is the first time we tried using it with our tv down there.

Nothing else is plugged in besides tv, satellite and blu ray. Do you know if the Blu Ray requires more power and might require a larger fuse?

What is the fuse/breaker rated at compared to where the system was originally set up? It is probably a lower rated one and I would bet the TV is sucking entirely too much juice for it.
