BLADE RUNNER bluray NOT RIGHT !!!

As this is my fav film i decided to go nuts and get a Panny BD35 and the blu ray version of the film (got the 5 disc edition on DVD)

And wow yes it looks great but something odd occured to me...during Rachels VK test with Deckard her voice sounded a tiny bit lower in pitch as if she were ever so slightly stoned..Its hardly noticable but i did notice it...

So i decided to find out and record both scenes from each format bluray and dvd.. a screengrab from cubase below

The bluray is on the bottom and clearly takes longer to play as if it were time stretched (btw any odd looking spikes was just me coughing in the background)
this of course would create a slightly lower pitch...

I'm pretty disgusted really as i'll always here it as 'off' I think i can here it in other scenes too but havent recorded them to find out.

This is a European bluray disc so i'm curious to know if anyone else has noticed the same thing ?

Erm, you compared it to a PAL DVD which was sped up from 24fps to 25fps to start with.

I think you will find the Blu-ray is spot on and the PAL DVD was always out. This is one of the problems with PAL DVDs - apart from a few releases which are pitch corrected for 25fps, they are all sped up. You were just used to a sped up version to start with.
