It's been that price since day 1. I got it in HMV not online in a store for £29.99. The US one is more expensive because it comes with Animatrix but it still works out cheaper if you where to buy the UK box set and the Animatrix separate.

Well I got it off Play.com for £14.99 so that seems a bit expensive to me

Oh, and there's another thread about this, but the X-Men trilogy on HMV.com is up for pre-order at £9.99.
