Whats the best and safest way to cut speaker cables in a way so they can be connected with the speakers?
I ordered Polk Audio RM6750. Does itat least come with its own subwoofer cables and do all subwoofers use the same kind of cable? thanks |

Use a pair of wire cutters to cut the cable, and attach a set of spade lugs or banana plugs onto the ends to make amp and speaker connections easier and better.

Also, they do not come with a sub cable or speaker wire. Order them from Monoprice- a 12ft shielded sub cable will run you about $5 and it's real nice quality. |

Thanks!
I got the speaker cables from monoprice. What I do is basically just cut right into the cable with a scissor and then trip the skin down like a banana. If I damaged the bare wire too much I just cut it shorter. Figured this is the fastest way to do this. |

Yep. I've got a few pairs of strippers. One manual and one automatic. The automatic one is what I used for AC power and speaker wire. I highly recommend this tool.
