The abridged version is this: There is a place at 422 Spadina Ave. (just south of College, west side) called Flags International which apparently has cheap but legit blu-rays for sale.

I think most people have heard of this place.. They through advertisements in kijiji.ca and craigslist.ca all the time. I have emailed them before but until i see a website i'm not wastinig my time

I read through many pages on that site and came to a similar conclusion. The movies don't come in original cases (i.e. Hulk 2008 is in a blue case), the case is not shrink wrapped, most don't have inserts, digital copy, slipcovers etc. How many warning signs does a person need??

I am not disputing whether they are real or fake blu's since I haven't personally seen them. But I am not going to take the chance of buying shady, *cough* stolen *cough* goods...I'll pass.

Ran into a guy at FS on the weekend and then again a few minutes later at BB.....we were both in the Blu-ray section and started chatting.

He tells me he buys his Blu's at the Flea Market at Dixie Value Mall (Dixie south of the QEW) and pays $20 for new releases. I didn't get into specifics with him, but I'm gonna check it out.

Has anyone in the GTA checked this place out already?
