Default Home Alone 2 release date?

Anyone know when Home Alone 2 might be released? I'm surprised Fox didn't release it at the same time as the first film. The first one is a great, classic holiday film, but I like the second one just a bit better.

I don't think there is a date yet. Lost in New York is my favorite, as well.

It seems like everyone who likes the first one also likes the second one (myself included). It's rare for a sequel to be as good, if not better, than the original. It's a shame Fox didn't release them at the same time. It'll be at least a year before we see it since it's a holiday title.

you'll get a kick out of this:

to me home alone 2 was almost identical to 1, except in new york (and i mean that in a good way). i enjoyed them both, they're "fun" movies and aren't really supposed to require much thought, which is what the guy writing the article was doing too much of.

they are both great. i also was surprised they didnt release them together, home alone's transfer is a little weak though, maybe they will do a better job on home alone 2. 3 i could careless about.

Home Alone 2 suffered from severe Sequelitis (rehashing the exact same gags, just amping them up.)...but it works! The first movie was genuinely good and original, but the second works just fine as a guilty pleasure.

I liked Home Alone 3

number 4 is really bad IMHO.

1& 2 are legendary and 3 is good in its own way in the fact that it's a lot different to the first and second but still maintains quality.

number 4 is just bad because of its low budget which makes it look crap.

can't wait for these movies to get a release in Australia, I will be sure to pick them up as soon as they land.

I find that I like 2 less and less the more I see it.

There are obvious errors in it that bugged me even when I was little:

First, HOW THE HECK IS KEVIN NOW 10 YEARS OLD IN THE 2ND ONE, WHICH TAKES PLACE A YEAR AFTER THE FIRST ONE, WHEN HE WAS EIGHT IN THE FIRST ONE. 9 comes after 8 I thought.

How the filmmakers missed that is beyond me. Perhaps it was intentional.

I mean I know its not supposed to be taken seriously, but how it was amazing how easily Marv and Harry fell for the same old tricks.

Another part that bugged me was how easily it was for Buzz to get away with being stupid at the beginning and the family bought it.

While the first one was silly, the second one took the gags a little too far.

Angels with Even Filthier Souls is still great.

He might have been 8 early December (when he goes shopping), have his birthday on, say, the 5th (making him 9), and the events of the 2nd movie happen after that date, making him 10.
Get the jist?

And there's no need to get worked up about plot holes like that.
