now that amazon has these for a reasonable $399, and considering they made less than 10k units. Do you think this is a good pickup to put away as a collectible with possible price appreciation down the road or just wasted money better spent elsewhere??

Have you tried looking for the 80GB MGS bundle for $499? I bought one this past Friday on Amazon. Look again.

Haven't bothered with the 80gb model, already have a ps2 and i have the 80gb ps3 which i am upgrading to 320gb. just thinking and wondering if this limited edition grey model will be a collectors item a few years from now and if it is worth it at this price to stash one away.
