Default Would starting a petition to get ‘X-Men - Animated Series’ on BR be effective?

The show is getting re-booted next year, I’m just wondering if there would any a point to get the series re-mastered on BluRay, like with Batman TAS and Superman 1996 Animated series.

Thoughts?

I don't think the Mouse has any plans to bring legacy animated TV shows to physical when they can be used as content for their streaming service. Kinda surprised Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers got a physical release.

Chip ‘N Dale was a promotional tie-in to the Disney+ sequel movie.

Same could be said for X-Men being a tie in for the revival of the show... but yeah, Disney TV releases happen so little they can still be classified as neve happening.

What about them remastering the series in HD for streaming? Any chance?

Not likely. It would require a TNG-type restoration, rebuilding every bit of it from the ground up, because it was a digital video production.

Was this also the case with Batman TAS and Superman 1996 animated series?

Aside from all the other comments, I think the concept of online petitions has extremely little utility in an application like this.

Both of those were output to film, like traditional animation. The Fox Kids series - Spider-Man, X-Men, etc. - were animated, captured to film, and then put to video for editing and effects composition and compositing. Without access to the original animation sources and a ton of money to scan them and digitally reconstruct the series, it won't happen.

Wow, if that’s the case, then yeah, it’s unlikely. Maybe a nice A.I upscale of the show is the only thing that can happen.

This could be a tie in to the reboot of the series premiering on Disney+?
