Nope, same as the new 80gig, just with Uncharted and a 160gig harddrive (and maybe Pain?).

None of the currently in production PS3 models are PS2 compatible. You can still find backwards compatible units on the after-market at places like craigslist and ebay, however. You might also be able to find some of the older "mostly" backwards compatible 80GB units (but be careful to make sure that you get the "right" 80GB units since there are new 80GBs that aren't backwards compatible).

thats why i bought the 60gb =P... if u have money to buy a ps3.. then spend the 39 bux and get a used ps2 for your ps2 games... unless u really want upscaled for some reason then find a 60gb somewhere on ebay

Mostly for me, I perfer to reduce the console footprint .

And ya, the upscaling isn't that great [definantly not worth 'hunting' down imo]. You'd be better served looking for a good reciever that does upscaling for you I imagine.
