Do I need HDMI 1.3b??? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys,

I have a PS3 and a LG 42 Scarlet with 120hz.

I currently have a HDMI 1.3a cable that i purchased from monoprice.

Do I need a HDMI 1.3b cable because my tv is 120hz?

No. The HDMI 1.3a cables will work just fine. Don't worry.

Okay, good.

I was just browsing through Amazon and I seen this product

(Mediabridge - 6ft Ultra-High Speed HDMI Cable - 120 Hz - Version 1.3b Category 2)

So i wasnt sure if these cables would make any difference or not.

No they won't.

The monoprice cables will work just fine.
