Default Where to purchase used Blu-rays?

Firstly, my apologies if this is in the wrong forum. I was debating between this and the deals forum but I felt this was more suitable. Anyway, to the point.

I'm heading over to the States in May/June and was wondering where the best place was to buy pre-owned blu-rays? I'm looking for some OOP titles and so any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll be around in New York, Washington, Chicago, New Orleans and Minneapolis - if that's any help.

Many thanks. =)

on here from other users in the trade forums is probably one of the "safer" options. lots of great people to work with here that aren't as much of a "stranger" as on other sites

also...

amazon
ebay
craigslist

some cities have a chain store called Moviestop--similar to Gamestop.
those stores are very good places to look.
also: another chain of stores called Hastings also have bds.
there is also another chain of stores called FYE that also sell used and new.
that store is the last dedicated music chain store left in the US I believe.

First, this is in the wrong forum.

Second, try "The Trading Forum" here: https://forum.blu-ray.com/trading-forum/

Finally, Why don't you try Gamestop, EB Games, Babbages, FYE, eBay, Craigslist, Amazon Marketplace, Borders.com, Overstock Auctions, etc.

a simply Google search will turn up these results.

Many thanks for the replies thus far. I'll definitely be dropping by some of those stores. Curiously, would Amazon even ship to a hotel?

I've had third party send stuff to me while I was staying in a hotel/condo at the end of 2008 when I got my first Blu-ray player. I buy used Blu-rays from here in the trading section and from Half.com. To name some Blu-rays that I have gotten from Half are 100 Feet, Adoration, and Children of the Corn / Hellraiser double feature.

You might also check "Half Price Books". I don't know if any of the cities you will be visiting have any HPB stores, but I have noticed that blu-rays are already showing up on the shelves at the ones around here.

Half Price is good but the stores here are a little overpriced. I cap used blus at $9.99 or less. If you are in the San Antonio/Houston area avoid DVD Exchange. They have used Blus for $17.99.

fye is a rip for the most part. I use them a little, but only on their deals. They mark up WAY too high then offer new and used blus at "sale prices," which often are just the prices you'll pay for new blus on Amazon.

However, they are worth checking out, because every once and a while they'll be selling one I'm looking for at a really low price, and if you've got some old DVDs and CDs you don't care about anymore, you can sell them for store cred to help pay for your blus.

I don't think they will last, and I'm always on the lookout for "going out of business sale" signs in their windows. If and when they do, I'm gonna go in and try to make a killin' on some blus.

There's Book Off in midtown Manhatten (45th between 5th & 6th ave.) that buys and sells used blu rays. They also have a site called Bookoffusa.

RM seems like a neat little store, but they're only in Cali at the moment. Guess I'll have to wait until next year but thanks anyway mate!

And thanks for your helps with 'stores'. I'll just pop on down to ebay and Overstock Auctions whilst walking down the Magnificent Mile.

In New England there are two great choices.....Newbury Comics and Bullmoose Music....both buy and sell BD's, DVD's, CD's, etc. I have sold back many of my DVD's I have replaced with BD's (300, Gladiator, etc) for $$ to buy new BD's.
