Warner Home Video have announced the UK DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Being There 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition on 23rd February 2009. Director Hal Ashby and writer Jerzy Kosinski's tour-de-force satirical fable that takes on politics, celebrity and the media stars Peter Sellers, Melvyn Douglas, Shirley MacLaine and Jack Warden.

The Blu-ray Disc release boasts special bonus content including 10 minutes of never-before-seen additional footage consisting of deleted scenes, a gag takes, and an alternate ending. Both versions are restored and remastered with 5.1 Dolby Digital audio and include a revealing new retrospective featurette with Melvyn Douglas’ actress-granddaughter Ileana Douglas.

FYI its been announced for a USA release on Feb 3.

just watched this on my xbox through netflix, and it is an excellent movie. you don't see movies like this anymore.

Seems like only America is getting the True HD audio now.
