Default How Much Will You Be Spending on BDs?

I did the math on what I have scheduled from Amazon and here it is:

December 27th-
“Eagle Eye”- $30.00

December 30th-
“Traitor” & “Serenity”- $42.00

January 13th-
“Stargate: The Ark of Truth” & “Matlock: Season Two”- $58.00
(Don't even start with me on Matlock. I like that show)

January 27th-
“The Bourne Trilogy”- $77.00

February 13th-
“A Time To Kill”, The Boondock Saints”, & “The Pelican Brief”- $68.00

Final Total-
$275.00

Haven't yet decided on
Appaloosa, Mummy Trilogy, Days of Thunder, W and on
February 17th
"Dead Like Me: Life After Death" streets. getting that for sure!

How much do you have pre-ordered?

Negative for me on all of these MSRPs. Will either order online or wait for prices to go down. If I already have them on DVD I'll hunt down a better price on Blu.

....on a side note, just saw an actor from the fourth season of Lost in a Cadillac commercial. Can you say "non sequitur"?

I have estimated that I spent about $50 per week on average since the beginning of September. There have been so many excellent titles this fall/winter.

January is going to be expensive too.

Build it and they will come.

We bought our S550 on Nov 25th. Since then, 7 BDs for $132.33. Not bad, an average of under $19 per BD.

Don't have a specific BD budget. If I see something I really want, I get it.
Though I must say that all in all I am rather cautious and don't splurge which was a mistake I did back when DVD was the new thing.

Going to get more expensive for me, but I haven't done an actual total tally. The idea scares me a little. But since I've quit smoking, I have a little extra cash to spend on blu's.

Serenity and the Bourne Trilogy are the only ones on this list that are on my radar, but Serenity is the only I'm definitely getting (it's released on my birthday, so there you go). Bourne Trilogy I'm on the fence on simply because of finances. I have them on DVD and after building my BD collection to 53 titles since March, I'm starting to "think" more before I buy what candy I see coming out these days. At least now that Wanted, WALL•E, Caspian and TDK have finally come out and Christmas sales will soon pass.

I dont really have a Blu buget, I just pay my bills and put 25% to savings, then I dedicate ALL of my extra money to buyin Blus and new gear. Im proud to sy that The Dark Knight made it an even 200 for me (counting the individual movies in the boxed sets I own)!

I envy all you people. I make like MAYBE 200-220 every two weeks, if I have a lot of shifts. Thank God I still live with my folks while I go to college. The PS3 is mine, the discs are mine (Even the DVDs are mostly mine), but the TV and sound system are theirs so there you go. LOL

I make decent money and all, but I've made it a point to pay no more than $20 for a new blu-ray. So despite the fact that Prince Caspian and TDK are two of the newer movies I want, I will patiently wait until they're on sale. When DVDs first came out, I remember buying at least one or two every Tuesday for a long while. Now those movies barely fetch $1.50.

Plus, I will never again buy blu-rays that are just "regular movies" (like dramas or comedies). I just don't see the $$ to justify it.

This holiday season? None! I'm looking at equipment - Pioneer Elite 03 receiver, Panasonic 35, some more wire from BlueJeansCable, some IKEA Dioder lights, and if I'm lucky, maybe another Martin Logan Dynamo!
