Anyone Buy from Central Electronic Plus??? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey has anyone bought from this website they have some great prices on TV's but never heard of them before so wanted to see if anyone knows if it is legit thanks

Hi,

I wanted to buy from this website too. I tried to place my order, and at the end of the process they say they will accept orders only of 600USD or more.
I tried with a 700 dollars order, and the only payment method is Western Union Money Transfer. I don't trust them. I called customer service in California, and there was no answer only a "bip" on the phone.

I gave up.

That very definately sounds fishy to me. I'd stay away!

I sent them an email last night explaining that I'd never heard of their company and I would like some references (l.e. Better Business Bureau report). I'll let everyone know if they reply to my letter.

Sounds like from this question it's a bogus place, they have a link to a slickdeals thread about it in the question.

LOL there are about 3-4 businesses I found with an address the same as theirs. It's close to where I live. I think I'll drive by there sometime tomorrow since I need to pass by that area when I goto the dentist.

Do not buy anything from this company - it is a scam. I lost almost $800.00 trying to buy a television and wired money to someone in Italy, having believed their lie about not taking credit cards because they had received so many bogus cards recently. It looks like a legit web site, but is not. STAY AWAY. I wish there were some "internet polics" to whom this could be reported so that they would stop advertising and be arrested for their crime!

VERY UPSET WITH THIS FRAUD!!!
