I saw the pilot and really enjoyed it on sd tv and then for some reason never watched anymore. my friends with similar taste love it so netflix is sending me the first season on BD today. I'm excited as I know it will look good and my wife will love it as well

I have S1 on BD and my wife and I watched all of S2 on AMC HD. It is an amazing show. It's no suprise it won Best Drama at the Emmy's.

The only thing that gets me mad is that the seasons are so short!

Been going on for years in Europe. It can be a bit annoying, even more so when the show is great and you just want more episodes but with the cost of productions now this will happen more and more I think

At least that way, the Blu-ray versions of MAD MEN seasons aren't quite so expensive...

Be prepared to be blown away. The PQ is super-duper-top-notch. I consider it demo material.

I have seaon 2 on preorder already.

After watching shows on Blu-ray it's really hard to watch them on TV where they look very inferior (even with HD).

I still have not seen any of Pushing Daisies but I will catch up on Blu-ray someday.

I'm doing the same with the Sarah Connor Chronicles as well as 1 or 2 others.

yes, they look inferior, and you have commercials, etc. even if I dvr it and then fast forward you still have a break in the flow.

Pushing Daisies is a very unusual quirky show. if you liked "Lemony Snickets" and the "addams Family" movies(first 2 only), then you will dig this show. the PQ is awesome

I watch nothing during broadcast anymore. Its been a few years now for me. I just cant deal with the commercials. Its like reading a book and constantly being interrupted.

Yeah I would be totally lost without my DVR. I even watch almost all my sports of it now too. I don't want to spend 3 hours watching a game that I can see in just over 1 hour with the DVR.

I think it's the best show on TV right now. Has there been a release date announced for the S2 blu-ray?

Haha - that's funny. I'm sure the DVD will be cheaper in the end but it's nice to see decent pricing on TV Blu-rays.

I am one episode away from the end of the first season.

Yesterday night my wife and I watched all but the last episode on disc 3 of the first season(we saved one episode for tonight ), it's amazing and we can't wait for the second season to be on blu, anyone know when it will be released?

I can't find anything about it
