Help deciding on what to ask for X-Mas

I have a relative who usually buys me something pretty expensive for christmas, he wants to know what to buy for me...I dont know what I want and wanted to hear some suggestions. I'd really prefer he buy me a gift card to say, Best Buy, but I know he wants to just buy an item. Please spare me the smart*** remarks. Thank you!


For reference, I <3 Blu-ray movies, I already have an iPhone 3G, I have a PS3 and an Xbox 360, no desire to own a Wii. I had one and got rid of it. I had a DS, don't want that either. I have had 2 PSP's was thinking about the PSP-3000, but I just don't think I'd use it...ever, I got a new laptop in September (W/Blu-ray drive). I also have 2 other iPods from past generations. I am out of ideas...


This is pointless, but just curious...

I could always return what he buys, but then it will be kind of awkward when he asks how the gift was etc...

I'd ask for gift cards. Amazon gift cards would be ideal IMO. Just give him your email address and ask him to send you whatever amount he wants to. Just a thought.

With a 1000+ Blu-ray, there must be a few you want to have. That's what I tell my friends I want for X-mas. Otherwise he will have to guess and you might end up with a pair of soft fluffy pink bathroom slippers, or horrors, a fruit-cake.

The dreadful Fruit Cake. They're people that come in to my store this time of the year buying the stuff to make the fruit cake. About 80% of them i talk to say they don't eat it.

lol. I don't eat it. But when we put the mixes in the cups to sell it gets nasty. The red, green cherries, pineapple, etc.. Those Red Cherries eaten by themselves have a kick. Sugar Rush.
