This game was epic.

Even though the story doesn't really need a sequel, I would love to see a next-gen update of this amazing game.

i'm only now playing this game... it's very well made, but the game itself is hit or miss for me. i have taken down 6 or 7 colossi in 1 long (full day almost while the wife was out of town) sitting and have no interest in ever playing that game again.

/me dodges shoes thrown at

Honestly, I can understand that sentiment, but I personally consider SotC to be literally the best video game I have ever played.

any information about this project will be found in this thread [clicky] that has been set up to keep all information together...

mind you...there is hardly any information available right now...but, you may want to subscribe to the thread in case it is updated with anything new....we have some pretty good insiders and they are good at getting us facts very soon after they are made available to the public....if not sooner.

True, it's not a long game, but I have played through it about a half dozen times. I'm still amazed at how beautiful it is every time.

Colossus rocks. I would be happy if team ICO just did PS3 remakes for Colossus and ICO. I would replay them a dozen times over again with fresh visuals.

Well I have read some links on google and most of the official
Sony guys report they hope Team ico will keep their olympic type record of making a game every 4 years.

That means 2009. Maybe late 2009, but hopefully 2009 will be the year the next game comes out.

Just looking at that screen reminds me how poor the visuals are on the majority of next-gen games. PS2 was able to pull that off, and some games can't even reach THAT detail.

Sad.

I don't know why but this game has alot of screen shots on the net that look better than my 480p presentation on my TV. I think they have been touched up. In reality the game looks blockier than that.

I would love a re-textured 1080p port of the original...don't change anything else...just re-texture it to 1080p and world would sigh a great and happy sigh...

Might as well fix the framerate if they're gonna do that.

The game was made on a PC at much higher resolutions. I have seen screens at over 1080p resolutions.
