Naruto on CN - Blu-ray Forum

I love the show like most people but where in the heck are the new shows at? I'm getting a little pissed off. Just turned on the Cartoon Network and they have another movie on. COME ON!

Toonami was canceled a few weeks ago and I think they are going to show movies every week and if there is time left then Naruto. Next week It looks like Batman vs. Dracula no Naruto and the week after Dr. Strange and then Naruto. The said there were low ratings for anime (although for the past few months the only anime on toonami was Naruto the rest were CN shows) This doesn't look like we will get to see One Piece (There may not be any more dubbed episodes, Funimation took over from 4kids and they may be going back and redubbing the 100+ previous episodes.)

I have set my DVR to record Naruto every episode at any an all times because of the schedule change the same with Bleach, Code Geass, and Moribito because the schedule keeps changing I will just delete the repeat airings if there is any after I record them to make sure I see them. Back before Adult Swim had Fridays Yu Yu Hakusho disappeared for a few months and without warning appeared at 5:00 AM on Saturday.

Naruto and everything Shonen Jump makes is horrible anime. There are much higher quality shows out there.

This show makes me queasy. Maybe its the voice acting for it and every other dub that CN puts on, just doesn't sit well with me.

IDK I like the story line. But lately the story hasn't been there because these episodes the last 2 months have been fill in episodes. Plus Gaara's my boy. He kicked ass in the Naruto movie last week

I stopped watching naruto on CN because the english dubbing sucks. I prefer watching it online with the current episodes in japan.

Y'all should check out Bleach. A similar show to Naruto, but to me it's a better show.

I would think the ratings are low on anime series. I love a lot of the shows they have had on there but I usually buy the box set or netflix them to watch them in order. By the time anything is on CN it can be watched elsewhere. I won't watch a show I enjoy out of order. It's good to catch a random EP of something to see if you like it though.

Watch GANTZ. Or GITS 1st and 2nd Gig. Or Samurai Champloo. I can go on and on with a number of better animes.

My last favorite was Haruhi.

There's alot of better stuff out there.

Obviously you are allowed your opinion but, considering that "Shonen Jump" has put out some of the most successful shows regardless of what you think of them, I would say that their overwhelming popularity over rules your opinion. Naruto definitely took a long time to get into a decent story but, once you make it up into the 80's episodewise, it picks up. Bleach was kind of the same though it gets more interesting far sooner. One Piece, which was butchered here, is easily one of my top five favorite animes, was good from the get go and still going strong. Like it enough that I am also reading the Manga.

Yes, there are a lot of good anime series out there along with a lot of dreck. Much like going to the library or the video store etc...you aren't going to like everything you read or watch but, I do find it rather ignorant on your part to say something so stupid.

edit: To note, because of the length of time it took for Naruto to actually go someplace, I wouldn't consider it a "great" anime but once it hit its stride it became worth watching. Not arguing for the purpose of being a die hard fan of the show...likely wouldn't make my top 20 list.

The thing I like about Naruto or Naruto Shippuuden is that it's not hardcore anime but sometimes it does feel like it.

I went to those and on the animefever site not every episode is free. You get a certain amount then they want you to pay. I found www.narutowire.com and it's good so far
