I have noticed that my LCD picture looks kind of "hazy". This happens on blu rays and regular hdtv channels. Could I do something with the calibration that will help get rid of the haze? Thanks!!

You have to be more specific than just saying it looks hazy.

what type of tv do you have? have you adjusted the settings?

I have tried to calibrate the television myself. I have a sony kdl46w3000. I am not sure if I should pay someone to calibrate it for me??

Haziness: Adjust backlight and brightness

Excessive Grain: Adjust sharpness

is it bad enough that when you take a pic it will show? if so, post one here

Just how did you try and calibrate the TV yourself.....
