Help Panasonic DMP-BD55 setup - real Newbie!

I have been reading and reading and just getting more and more confused with setup options for my new BD55 player.....

I have it hooked up by HDMI to my Yamaha DSP AX863SE Amplifier and then via HDMI out of the Amp to my Sony LCD TV.
I am using an Arcam Muso 5.1 speaker system out of the Yamaha Amp....

What are the best setting for Audio options on the BD55 - I will read up more in weeks to come, but bitsream, secondary audio , PCM etc are making my head spin!!
Can soemone recommend the best setup for Audio (and picture if need be) - first impressions are great, but Im not convinced Im making the best use of everything when its used out of the box as mine is currently..

Your suggestions for optimal setup would be very gratefully received!

Set to Bitstream, Secondary audio OFF

Does your Yamaha have TrueHD and dts-MA decoders? If so, you can set the DD and DTS digital outputs to bitstream or PCM. If it doesn't, you would need to use the PCM setting.
