Default Why no demo for BD Player Software?

Is there any political reason that there is no demo version of BD Software Player available for download? You have to buy it in order to try it. They all have the one for standard DVD, but not Blu-ray.

If they want BD to take over DVD faster, they should make the demo version available. Hampering it would be counter productive.

Because they dont want to give out a trail version which you then crack and be able to play BD movies on your computer for free. They want you to pay full price. Thats what if your unsure which software to buy just download all of them and see which suits your needs. and if your a nice person then buy it. I know with PowerDVD 8 you can download patches for it and it doesnt detect if your copy is real or cracked.
