Well, goes against the title of the thread, but the most over-hyped movie that I've never seen is Napoleon Dynamite.
It's always the first that comes to mind in threads like this.



BUT...I just thought of one I've actually seen, and discussed here recently in a different thread.

Maltese Falcon.

I understand the "importance" of it in film history.
I just don't like the story, or the style, or really anything about it.
