It's like something out of a fanboy fantasy land. At next year's CES, there will be a Street Fighter IV tournament. In which Capcom, Microsoft and Sony will select champions, then do battle.

For real. They will fight, you will take sides, shit will get real.

Each publisher's community leader - Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb for Microsoft, Jeff Rubenstein for Sony and Seth Killian for Capcom - will be there, and they'll be leading teams of 20 (with contestants drawn from people like you) in a three-way festival of dick-swinging, name-taking and all around shit-talkery.

CES is due to take place January 8-11 in Vegas. Further details on how you sign up for this apocalyptic event to come.
AWESOME.

Capcom are absolutely legendary!!!!!

That's a little unfair. It should be MS, Sony and Nintendo. Capcom has an unfair advantage since THEY MADE THE FRIGGIN GAME.

Naaa. I think it should be just MS vs Sony. Nintey is just no contest. Plus the real fanbois are in the MS and Sony camps.

I think I'll side with Capcom. Longest history and brilliant arcade games. Classic.

I have no interest in SF4, but I wanna see who'll come out on top...I'm siding with Capcom for now.

I agree. It should be from the three main console makers of today.

Uhh....Ok....?

Personally I hate watching other people play video games. If I'm not the one playing, I get frustrated and lose interest pretty quick. Ironic, considering I developed that mindset from waiting for my turn to play Street Fighter II at the arcade.

Cool from a PR perspective, I guess.

Seth Killian (or s-kill, as he's known in the Street Fighter community) is actually really, really good. I think he's going to singlehandedly win this tournament.

Who is he representing? PS3, 360 or Capcom?

He's Capcom, so I'd say the Sony and MS teams are both boned, unless they can find someone better (possible but unlikely). I hear Jason Cole works for Sony Santa Monica, and he's also ridiculously good. I have no idea who MS could scrounge up.

LOL Seth is gonna win this tourney free. All he has to do is either pick Akuma or Balrog and they lost.
