Another $60 GC, Need Help! - Blu-ray Forum

Ok, since the last time i have pretty much received every good game known to man. So here is my list of possibles. As always please post below if you would like to add to your vote, or if you vote other, please state which game below.

P.S. Other option is save it for a PSP game, as I did ask for a PSP for Christmas.

Save it incase you get PSP for Christmas then you can by God Of War on PSP.

Wait to see if you got a PSP, if not, then Civ Rev, Far Cry 2 or PoP.....if lack of trophies don't bother you then go for Civ Rev, the demo was awesome and you can find it new for $40 right now.

What did you buy with your other GC?

Actually you can get Civ Rev, Far Cry 2 and PoP for $39.99 with the recent price drops.

Lets see. I bought Bioshock, Motorstorm 2, (received Mirrors Edge for Free), Fallout 3, Midnight Club LA, and just bought Sonic Unleashed for the lady. (bought Dead Space on Black Friday). I know I have alot of games.. lol..

Civ Rev got knocked around pretty hard for it's online problems. I've never played it online and enjoyed it single player. The problem with single player once you've won a bunch of times it gets very old quick. I'd buy that as a last resort myself.

You should save for PSP games it's only a few days and you will know if you need to get a few games or not.

Don't get POP. I'd wait, christmas is so close. You'd hate to buy a game now instead of maybe 2 on your new psp

You do realize that PoP has the same art style as Valkyria Chronicles, right? I've heard both are BEAUTIFUL games. I still haven't played Valkyria Chronicles myself, but it's gotten terrific ratings everywhere, particularly for a RPG. I'll pick it up once I beat Fallout 3 (finally working on the main story), and I really should play MGS4 since I've had it for five and a half months now.

If you get a PSP, there wouldn't be very many people that would tell you NOT to get Final Fantasy: Crisis Core. I've heard that it's a toss up between God of War and FF:CC as to which game is the best of the PSP. Anyone know which one has won the Game of the Year in some of the publications?

I recommended Prince of Persia. Looks great, plays great, is VERY kind to beginners (oh and relatively easy trophies too, if you're into that). And you can get it for <$60.

the story is actually pretty good. I haven't platinumed it yet but I can tell you without worry that this will be the easiest platinum to get. Easier than burnout paradise for sure.

Valkayria chronicles or Civ. Rev. I'm leaning towards Civ Rev though, and Sid Meier is just a genius and had me hooked with Alpha Centauri

I really did not think Far Cry 2 was much good. You may want to try it before you buy it.

Of your list at hand, I'd say Valkyria Chronicles. Sleeper hit of the year for sure, and sits with Disgaea 3 in a long empty void for the PS3's catalogue. The art style is not at all the same as Prince of Persia, it is rather very much its own thing. Looks great and has a certain charm.
