I dont think there is a Blu-ray of any of the BMW Films. In 2005 BMW stopped production of the "The Hire" series on DVD and removed all the films from thier website. But on the laptop, it was most likely a DVD or downloaded hi-res version, which would look great on a small screen. The last of any BMW films was "Hammer & Coop" film series in 2007 based on the Mini Cooper.

I have a DVD of The Hire shorts on the shelf with my James Bond DVD (what few I have left). Don't remember how I got it (it's in a paper sleeve) and never opened it 'cuz I'm a geek.

I also have The Hire on DVD in a Keep Case with nice artwork. I especially love the Guy Ritchie/David Fincher installment Star with Clive Owen as the driver and Madonna wetting her pants. But I don't think that these shorts will be released on blu in a foreseeable future. With their car sales breaking away BMW has other things to worry about.

Oh man, these would be fantastic little blu-ray demos if they were ever released in a decent BR package.
Here's hoping...

This should be in the Wishlist Forum. When BMW released the DVD version of the series, they didn't even encode the shorts in anamorphic widescreen.

it is "im"possible.

The Hire went out of production and BMWFILMS halted its operation.

The last DVD version released was the one in "Keepcase" and it came with all complete season.

New BMW Film is out, The Escape, again featuring Clive Owen and directed by Neill Blomkamp this time around...

Glad they are producing more shorts. I'm hoping a bluray with the original series and the new ones gets released somehow.

LOVE the originals! I really hope that this is the first in another series and that they do end up on Blu-ray.
