It's 31.99 on Amazon, almost on par with CC blu-rays

...expensive? it's not like the between 44 to 50 the HD DVD from Japan was getting. 30, 31 bucks is a good price for this excellent blu-ray. the picture and audio are absolutely fantastic, although it has very sub-par special features (aka none, just trailers).

great great release.

It's on par with the price to import it, so if you're thinking of doing either, I'd go with amazon.com.

reminds me of the nightmare before christmas, anywhere local (futureshop, HMV, rogers video, blockbuster) sells for $35-$40! i can't justify spending that much unless it's IRONMAN!!

It probably looks great on BD. Great tinting and colors throughout the movie, great visuals. And really creepy, too - Christian Bale is a great actor. You should see the movie before watching Dark Knight.

Is the German version region free? I might be heading over there sometime next week and could search around for a cheap buy...

negative on that one. The film itself is Spanish in descent, which is really interesting, and deceptive really. Just because it's in english (without a dub) doesn't make it American.

It contains a German lossless track, and an English lossless track. german is the only subtitle option.

People should start realizing if it's just one movie and it's more than 30$ then its probably be an import. That's just me though.

I was in Spain for the past week and picked it up for 20 Euros. I loved the movie and can't wait to see it on Blu.
